An interesting tangent: her grandfather was a Master Mason of the London Lodge...and since membership in the order is passed through families, I wonder if her father would have had a similar connection...this discovery came out of some digging into various secret societies of the Victorian era, and a desire to work them into the plot somehow.
But as the granddaughter of a Mason, I don't want to pursue this connection in any kind of disrespectful way. I'd really rather have found out that her family had ties to the Order of the Golden Dawn!
Perhaps the Masonic connection is best left out, for now...we shall see.
