Word Count

538 words tonight. Also, the last night of writing in the apartment...tomorrow will be the first night in our new house! I can't wait to settle into my periwinkle blue writing room, bedecked with photos of far off places, the walls dripping in books.

I am also really starting to look forward to my track out from school. Well, I was already looking forward to it, but now I am looking forward to my plans. I intend to devote an hour and half each day to each of my four novels-in-progress: at least six hours of writing, five days a week. I am antsy to test out the life of a full-time writer, and excited to know that in a month, all my books should have grown considerably.

I had been feeling almost unfaithful, working solely on the Egyptology YA novel as I have been for the past month. Ruth, Isobel, and the teens in the as-yet unnamed realistic novel have been on the back burner for too long, and I am counting down the days until I can devote myself to them all: only 15 days left!
