After a nice dinner in downtown Durham last night, I had the idea for a locally set historical murder mystery. Outlining it now, and I've just started the narrative (crappy, crappy first draft and I can already tell that, but the point is to write now and revise later) and I've got over 1,500 words of outline and story!
Exciting new genre for me to dabble in, and an excuse to learn more about my new home!
