And now, we wait...

Based on a gentle push in the right direction from my husband, I just submitted a short fiction piece to a local publication.

There's always that moment of intense anticipation, just before clicking the send button, where I find myself second guessing everything from the spelling of simple words to the merit of my story. That tangible moment of fear before leaping of the cliff with a single click.

But maybe this leap will help me find my wings.

  1. Clicking send is perhaps the scariest moment for me. When it's done, I have to push aside my panic that I made a mistake with my submission and hold on to the feeling of possibility. That anything can happen. That's the energy I pour into my next project. Best of luck!
