Wow. Writing in the first person for this novel is proving more challenging than I would have thought! I keep switching tense. I guess it's good that I've decided to be a NaNo rebel and edit as I go!
I'm finished a chapter at 3,720 words, which puts me right on goal for 18 chapters/75,000 words total.

In other news, Halloween candy has proved too dangerous an opponent. So much for losing those last two pounds this week!
