Even though I just posted, I realized I haven't updated my reading list in awhile.
I just finished "Memento Nora" by Angie Simbert (my February VOYA book review). If you like fast-paced dystopian sci-fi, this is a good read.
I also read "Lily of the Nile" by Stephanie Dray. This novel explores the lost children of Cleopatra, specifically Selene, her only daughter and the child of Marc Antony. I loved it, and can't wait for the promised sequel.
At school I got my hands on "Forge" by Laurie Halse Anderson, the much anticipated sequel to "Chains". At first, I wasn't thrilled with the narrator, but soon I was caught up in the brutal beauty of the story. This also has a sequel coming, which I don't think I can wait for.
Three books seems like an awfully short list for the month of February, but I can't think of anything else I've been reading. I will try to do better in March! What books are on your nightstand right now?
