This weekend I was sick. While this did not bode well for the housework, it did mean that I was planted on the couch for most of Sunday. In that time, I flew through "Revolution" by Jennifer Donnelly. This amazing novel puts a new, personal spin on the French Revolution, while at the same time presenting a piercing modern narrative that deals with depression, loss, and the possibility of life. I don't remember the last time I read a book so quickly!
Next up: a stack from the library that doesn't seem to shrink (maybe because I keep going to the library and discovering new things!). Huzzah for books!
