100 Books in 2012: Book 4 "Hold me closer, Necromancer"

Usually, I don't go in for overly dark comedy, but I couldn't put Lish McBride's novel down. Sam is a college dropout who might just spend the rest of his life flipping burgers if it weren't for the fact that he's a Necromancer: he can communicate with and control the dead. This might not be a problem, if Sam had any idea how to use his powers. Pitted against a truly wicked villain, Sam is a likeable, flawed hero. Older teens will gravitate to this story, and fans of "The Hunger Games", "Vladimir Todd", and "Cirque Du Freak" will adore this novel.

What are you going to read this year? I'm going to try to read 100 books, which is a daunting endeavor, to say the least! If you want to take the challenge, sign up here!
