Story a Day in May

I've decided to sign up for the Story a Day in May writing challenge. Since I struggle with short story as a genre, and since I'm already in love with the different writing prompts on Gail Carson Levine's blog, I've decided to use her writing prompts to propel my story a day challenge. I need guidance, and prompt writing really feels good to me.

This will be good writing practice for me, and wonderful plot practice, since I will need to "finish" each story each day...no more projects that linger for years!

Or is this just a way for me to procrastinate even more on my novels? No, I refuse to look at this in a negative way: any writing is good writing, and I do better with specific goals and challenges that push my comfort zone...NaNoWriMo 09 was my most productive writing month ever, so we'll see what May holds in store!

  1. Man, a story a day? I don't think I could ever do that. Good luck!
